A female English Shepherd weighs about 40 to 50 pounds (18 to 23 kg) and is approximately 18 to 22 inches (46 to 56 cm) in length.

Border Collies can also live up to 18 years, depending on various factors like health and proper nutrition.

English Shepherds are healthy, though they can be vulnerable to a few conditions like hip dysplasia, a partial or complete hip joint dislocation.
